  • SUMMARY

    Perform heavy cleaning and sanitation duties in the retail operation of Neo.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Assist Neo cook in the preparation of food items, including but not limited to, washing, peeling, measuring, mixing, etc.

    Help in distribution of food to customers.

    Clean and wash electric food mixers/appliances.

    Operate dish and pot washing machines.

    Remove trash from all cafeteria areas and sanitizes trash receptacles.

    Fill/refill salt and peppershakers, salad dressing containers, and napkin holders.

    Wash, sterilize, and stack china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.

    Perform some stockroom and stocking duties.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

    EDUCATION

    High school education or GED equivalent required.

    EXPERIENCE

    One (1) year experience in food service preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Food handler's permit desired

    Knowledge of dishwashing machinery, sanitation procedures, and kitchen appliances preferred

    Knowledge of food service operations desirable, especially in a cafeteria

    Per HCC Policy C: 4.7 Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace, a drug and/or alcohol test is required if a conditional job offer is made
