Responsibilities

Coordinates and supports logistics, membership development, and website development for the Northern Virginia Falls Prevention Network. Duties include:
• Update and expand a website to communicate and link members of the Northern Virginia Falls Prevention Network ( NVFPN ), the community of older adults, and providers of health and safety services to older adults.
• Assures regular updating of websites for training programs and falls prevention intervention programs.
• Create and disseminate marketing materials for the Network and for the programs offered through the Network.
• Provides outreach to local and regional community groups to increase knowledge about, and membership in, the Network.
• Provide logistical support for Network presence at local and regional conferences; including conferences organized by the Network.
• Establish a sustainable structure for communication with regional stakeholders.


Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, marketing, communications, or related field
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and spreadsheet management
• Strong writing skills
• Website design experience


Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a health field, marketing, or communications
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of health and wellness activities with older adults
