Job Description

The job of a Team Leader is responsible for managing day-to-day planning, implementation and problem-solving to ensure their team achieves their daily goals in production or service. Day to day operations include by not limited to the following:

Monitoring team's performance to ensure they meet daily goals

Verifying individual performance by using tracking systems

Coaching team members to improve performance

Motivating team members

Leading and attending scheduled training programs and classes

Identifying individual shortcomings of team members and helping them through customized coaching

Reporting team development and activities to high-level managers

Recommending promotions and incentives

Submitting ideas to increase productivity of his/her team

Making sure cleanliness of work area is accomplished

Ensure team members receive appropriate awards and recognition

Assist in driving continuous improvement for the facility;

Monitor compliance with internal practices and external policies, procedures, guidelines

Ensure the thorough completion of work orders from start to finish, hold your team members accountable for their actions.

Follow the process with the First Article Check all the way through the Final Quality Check and ensure no steps were skipped.

Report to work on time and ensure team members are doing the same
