Excellent opportunity at Premier Academic Medical Center with Level 1 Trauma Care. Seeking those with experience in several disciplinary specialties with an emphasis in Trauma and General Adult Anesthesia Care. The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Medicine invites exceptional applicants for a tenure or non-tenure track Anesthesiology faculty position. Candidates will be considered for the academic rank of clinical instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, or professor of clinical anesthesiology dependent on academic background and clinical experience. Candidates should have experience in general adult anesthesiology. Knowledge in sub-specialty areas such as trauma, regional, obstetric, or pain management anesthesiology as well as a background in academic medicine is valuable. Faculty Anesthesiologists in this position will provide patient care throughout three top MU Health facilities in Columbia, Missouri. They will work closely with nurse anesthetists, resident physicians, and medical students providing medical direction along with classroom and clinical instruction. Experience in coordination of research studies and clinical trials highly regarded.
Qualifications: MD/DO, ABA BC/BE in Anesthesiology, Missouri license
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
