Posting Summary:
The McIntire Department of Art at the University of Virginia seeks applications to fill non-tenure track instructional positions during the 2017-2018 academic year. The department is looking to fill two or three courses in basic black-and-white darkroom photography and color photography over the academic year. This position will teach intro levels of photography courses, mentor students, and assist the department with special projects as needed. Candidates must be well versed in analog to digital color workflow and Photoshop. Previous university experience teaching multiple levels of photography courses is required. A terminal degree (MFA) is required. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching.Compensation will take the form of wages.
