Equity Assessment Consultant

Reporting to the Assistant Vice Provost for Educational Equity, the Equity Assessment Consultant is responsible for supporting and advising the Office of Educational Equity regarding the assessment and evaluation of issues that engage diversity, equity, and inclusion at Penn State. The Equity Assessment Consultant will apply expertise in the areas of diversity in higher education, research, and assessment, to programs, policy review, sponsored grants (e.g., Equal Opportunity Planning Committee), services, and strategic planning in the Office of Educational Equity; and will collaborate with and assist colleagues in operationalizing goals and evaluating impact in support of the University's “Statement on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion”—this will include, for example, delivering workshops and presentations, as well as the communication of assessment results in brief. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Ph.D. is preferred. At minimum, interested applicants should possess attention to detail, assessment expertise, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
