Math Resource Center Tutor
Tutor students in all levels of mathematics taught at JCCC; refer students to appropriate media resources in the Math Resource Center; assist students on computers and other equipment; complete other duties as requested by the Math Resource Center supervisor.
High school graduate or equivalent required. Completion of math classes through Statistics or Calculus I required. Ability to communicate mathematical skills and concepts clearly, both orally and in written form, in a one-to-one or small group setting, in the full range of math courses offered at JCCC required. Computer literacy required. Ability to use and instruct students in the use of a graphing calculator required.
Willingness to learn and assist students in the use of math related application software preferred.
