Position:
The College of Education invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, 10-month Lecturer position in the Department of Special Education beginning August, 2017.

Qualifications:
Graduate degree in special education or closely related field. Minimum of 3 years Pre-K to 12 teaching experience in a certificated position. Undergraduate/graduate teaching and supervision experience and/or resource/administrative experience. Commitment to collaboration with public schools.

Responsibilities:

Faculty assigned standard instructional workload of eight course units per academic year (4 course units/semester). Teach four 3 credit special education courses and/or supervise internship placements in various instructional settings. Teach and supervise in the undergraduate programs in special education, as well as in the Master of Education (MEd) and Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) programs at the graduate level. May include work within Professional Development Schools supervising interns; recruitment of students and student advising; and/or teaching both undergraduate and graduate classes.
