Job description

Duties: Provide fulltime support in the Office of Athletic Communications to help promote and publicize the University of Pennsylvania's 33 intercollegiate teams. Act as a liaison between Penn's athletic department and its constituents as well as local, regional, and national media. Provide appropriate information to alumni, news outlets, and inter-University personnel on a daily basis through electronic, written, and verbal means of communications.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 1 year to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must possess excellent written, interpersonal and computer skills. Time management skills are essential as the candidate will be asked to multi-task on a daily basis. Knowledge of Ivy league/NCAA rules and regulations a plus. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as well as travel with teams as required. Valid driver's license required. This is a 2-year appointment, working August through May.
