Job Description
The administrative coordinator for the Department of Student Life provides a seamless experience for all parties in their interaction with the department. This high-level, quality experience is created through the coordination and management of the department's administrative responsibilities including serving as liaison to internal and external partners, office management, scheduling and general office support. In addition, the administrative coordinator provides support for institutional special events and university committees for which the department is a lead sponsor or contributor.


Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience in business management, administrative services or related field; or equivalency.


Preferred Qualifications
This position requires highly developed communication and organizational skills; knowledge and understanding of university policies and procedures; customer service skills necessary to meet and interact with diverse populations; knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment; and ability to coordinate diverse administrative/management functions. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and be sensitive to the private nature of personnel and financial information.
