General Summary of Position:
The Biomedical and Nutritional Sciences is searching for a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach Clinical Anatomy Laboratory for summer 2017. The candidate will teach students in our nationally accredited Commission on Accreditation for Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program. Experience in teaching Clinical Anatomy Laboratory with cadaver dissection, or Anatomy at the university level constitutes a major strength in applicants for this position.

Clinical Anatomy is a foundational course for DPT first year students and presents the structures and functions of the human body. Topics included are: the structures of the human body and their function with emphasis on human movement systems and surface anatomy. Dissection and prosection, as well as student group presentations, and practical exams are included. Clinical Anatomy Lecture is a concurrent course for the DPT students. Clinical Anatomy Lecture and Lab are taught during a 12 week summer session. Both of these graduate courses are restricted to PT majors only.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
-Doctorally prepared in related field and/or master's in anatomy or neuroscience
-The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
