Duties: The Computational Memory Lab at the University of Pennsylvania (memory.psych.upenn.edu) is hiring an ambitious software developer to work with a team of neuroscientists and engineers to develop brain stimulation devices to boost human cognitive abilities. This position will be focused on the development of games for evaluation human memory in research studies, and on interfacing these games with a cutting-edge brain recording and stimulation platform. This research is part of the DARPA-funded Restoring Active Memory program, the presidential BRAIN Initiative and a National Institutes of Health grant to understand the neural correlates of human spatial and verbal memory. We are seeking developers who thrive in a fast-paced research environment and who want the challenge of building first-in-human technologies. Experience with Unity and C# required.

Qualifications: -A Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
-Proficiency with Macintosh and Linux systems (including shell-scripting ability and strong familiarity with UNIX terminal).
-Unity and C# experience required.
-Python and C/C++ language proficiency desired.
-Background in collaborative software development, including version control.
-Familiarity with research environment.
