Posting Summary:
The School of Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks an Information Reporting Lead. As the University and the School roll out new BI solutions and a new budget system, the position will play a critical role in the transition to ensure that the school reporting needs are adequately addressed.

The Information Reporting Lead analyzes, defines, implements, and supports the SOM reporting suite. Incumbent writes technical requirement specifications, researches, tests, and debugs reports and conversions and provide supporting documentation. Additionally, he/she investigates and troubleshoots system related problems and leads the effort to expand the system functionality. The employee in this position is expected to utilize QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau and other reporting tools, as well as MDX, SQL and other programming tools as needed. Incumbent will address highly complex and unique reporting needs and will use experience, judgment, and innovation in creating solutions.

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology or a relevant field; OR 4 years of experience developing Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytical Solutions. Qualified candidates with a Bachelor's Degree must also have at least three years experience developing Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytical Solutions. Without Bachelor's, total of 7 years experience developing Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytical Solutions required.
