Job Description

The English Dept. seeks an enthusiastic instructor to teach a course on Chaucer (ENGL 344): " Troilus and Criseyde , The Canterbury Tales and some of the minor poems in Middle English. No previous language training required." This course begins on 1/17/17 and meets twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1130AM to 1245PM. The last day of the semester is 5/10/17.



Qualifications & Requirements

An M.A. or MFA in English or a related field is required for this position, but applicants with Ph.D.s with a specialization in Medieval literature are preferred. Please send a c.v. and a letter outlining the instructor's pedagogical approach (e.g., learning goals) for this course as soon as possible. Applications that include observation letters and/or student evaluations are preferred.




Salary Range

Commensurate with Experience
