The Center for Health, Work & Environment has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Center Office Administrator position.

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus ranks among the top institutions nationally in clinical care, education and research. This class describes the first level of program assistant where positions perform technical support and/or office management duties. Work involves making decisions within established technical work processes related to a program or professional subject area and interpreting program specific guidelines to resolve problems, answer questions, and/or advise others on specific program issues or matters.
The Center for Health, Work & Environment (CHWE) at the Colorado School of Public Health conducts research, offers academic training to graduate and postdoctoral students, provides professional development courses and events, implements community-based public health projects, as well as pilot project research opportunities throughout the West. It is committed to partnering with community stakeholders who share the mission of improving the health, safety and wellbeing of workers, their families, and communities.
This position exists to provide business services necessary to support CHWE administrative operations, faculty, and staff. This position maintains and oversees the flow of the office, facilitates the activities of staff, faculty and students, interfaces with advisory groups, helps facilitate events, and is instrumental in interpreting and enforcing the university policies and procedures. This position also assists the Associate Director with duties as necessary to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this full-time position has been established at $45,264 to $63,875 and is commensurate with skills and experience.

Four years of general clerical or administrative service experience, which included one year of experience managing multiple calendars, arranging meetings OR event management or coordination.
Substitution: College, university or non-correspondence business school course work may substitute on a year for-year basis for the general experience but not for the specific year of experience managing multiple calendars, arranging meetings OR event management or coordination.
- Prior work experience in Higher Education environment.
- Experience with and knowledge of information systems and financial applications that include CU procurement and accounting software such as Peoplesoft including Concur, and Marketplace
- Experience with various types of funding and accounts including grants, contracts, gifts, endowments, state funding, ICR, clinical revenue, consulting revenue, auxiliaries and service centers.
- Experience managing with services such as managing multiple calendars, arranging meetings, and serving as the front office administrator.
- Experience with event management or coordination.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
