Degree and Area of Specialization:

Masters Degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Educational Psychology or Social Work with training in child development, adult mental health, and child and infant mental health required. Level IV(Clinical) Infant Mental Health Endorsement required.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in providing counseling/psychotherapy to women, infants, and families in the perinatal period. Experience conducting professional development on topics related to perinatal mental health, infant mental health, and dyadic therapeutic interventions. Experience providing Reflective Consultation, Infant Mental Health Consultation and professional development to Home Visiting programs. Management of clinical and professional development programs and staff.



License or certificate:

Position Summary:

The Senior Counselor, Clinical Program Coordinator, will provide direct clinical services and supervision in clinical services in the Parent-Infant Outreach programs based in the Department of Psychiatry: Addressing Postpartum Depression in WI Home Visiting Programs and Innovations in Early Relational Screening, Assessment, and Support in Home Visiting. In both of these programs, this position will include provision of direct clinical treatment in group therapy as well as reflective and clinical supervision for both UW clinical program staff and collaborating community based mental health and Home Visiting staff, oversight of clinical program services and evaluation of therapeutic group effectiveness.
