The Department of Housing and Residence Life at the University of North Texas is a growing organization which serves nearly 6,300 students in 15 residence halls. Our department is organized into the following areas: housing operations, residence life, and financial administration. Job Description
The Housing-Admin Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator II to join our team.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Assists the Assistant Director of Housing Operations with managing departmental contracts, entering requisitions, tracking shipments, placing orders, reviewing and analyzing invoices for discrepancies and approvals for payment, as well as assist will residence hall projects.
* Responds to general Housing operational, procurement, and vendor questions via email, telephone and person to person contact
* Create/track IDT's for any housing related purchases for services or assets acquired through other campus entities.
* Creation and maintenance of electronic file management systems.
* General administrative support for answering phones, corresponding with other departments, and outside entities via email or phone, ordering office supplies, management of office equipment, occasionally providing or serving as escort for tours given to vendors or other entities for service work or entry to halls.
* Create and maintain spreadsheets used for tracking compliance, inventories, projects, etc.
* May maintain Outlook calendars, schedule appointments, plan, coordinate and arrange special events, travel, and/or track procurement card expenses, and/or act as Pcard reconciler.
* Answer phones, order and maintain office equipment and supplies.
* May supervise up to 3 student/hourly staff members within the Central housing administration area to support departmental operational functions, monitor performance, schedule and approve time.
* Acquire institutional Pcard for the purpose of purchasing goods for Housing.
* Assists with planning, coordinating, and scheduling of residence hall upgrades and large purchases for housing operations.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess an Associate's Degree and four years of office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Advanced knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Suite.
* Ability to create elaborate spreadsheets using formulas.
* Prior experience in property management, contract management, e-Pro purchasing processes, compliance and accounting functions.
* Highly organized and detail oriented with an advanced ability to prioritize and handle coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Highly motivated individual and the ability to perform with minimal supervision.
