Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructors
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Health or Education disciplines, credentialed in the discipline of surgical technology through a national credentialing organization that is accredited by the National Commission of Certifying Agencies (NCCA), and a minimum of three (3) years of the last five (5) years of operating room experience in the scrub role and/or in surgical technology required.
This position is based in Binghamton, New York with travel to clinical sites and MVCC's Rome, New York Campus as required. A valid driver’s license is required at the time of hire and for the duration of the appointment.

Prior college teaching experience, knowledge of student learning outcomes, and familiarity with instructional technology and/or online teaching are preferred.
Teaching assignments for the fall 2017 semester include working with students in lab and clinical settings in the Binghamton, New York area and on MVCC's Rome, New York Campus. This includes preparing students for working in operating room suites, assisting with the preparation of supplies (instrumentation, draping, etc.), and delivering care to surgical patients (skin preparation, positioning, dressing materials, specimen care, etc.).
