  • Develops marketing collateral for key strategic initiatives including the Ritchie Schools Strategic Plan, Project X-ITE, Senior Design, Grand Challenges Scholars Program and Amplify
  • Develops marketing collateral and provides marketing support events to drive attendance, encourage engagement and raise the profile on campus and in the community of both the Ritchie School and Project X-ITE
  • Coordinates with Assistant Director of Student Services, Department Chairs, and Department Admins to develop marketing collateral for undergraduate and traditional graduate student recruiting, summer camp enrollment and summer school enrollment
  • Serves as liaison to DUs Marketing Communications team to coordinate public relations, production of DU newsroom stories, and identifying photo and video opportunities of interest to the broader university
  • Serves as liaison to University Advancement (including Career Services) Marketing and Communications team in the development of marketing collateral materials supporting alumni and industry engagement
  • Responsible for graphic design, copy-writing and production of printed and digital brand and enrollment marketing materials including website assets, quarterly e-newsletters, annual reports, presentations, posters, brochures, banners, flyers, program guides
  • Creates and maintains a suite of digital and print event marketing material templates including flyers and e-mails for use by various stakeholders at the Ritchie School and Project X-ITE to use in promoting events
  • Maintains and updates the Ritchie School and Project X-ITE websites and creates new webpages as needed for strategic initiatives
  • Manages backend integration of CRM software with websites to capture and store data
  • Develops and coordinates the content and delivery for quarterly newsletters, blogs and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn etc.)
  • Manages the production of digital assets including photography, videography, podcasts and graphic stock images

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital communications, graphic design or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, digital communications or marketing in a fast-paced, high-growth setting
  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc
  • Proficiency with WordPress, building pages and customizing themes and plugins
  • Demonstrated experience with email newsletter platforms (Mail Chimp, Emma, Pardot etc.)
  • Extensive functional knowledge in social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Strong knowledge of social media marketing tactics and strategies
  • Experience with customer relationship management software, using forms to capture and manage data, and integrating various campus CRMs with digital platforms to ensure data integrity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience producing digital assets including podcasts, photo editing and/or video recording, editing, and production skills
  • Experience working with responsive designs
  • Experience with higher education customer relationship management software including Banner and Slate
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Previous experience planning and building automated marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with Googles suite of products
