Assistant Coordinator of Student Life
This position is responsible for coordination and operation of the residence life program in a community college setting. This is a 12-month live-in position, with oversight of a single co-ed residence hall. Responsibilities include staff selection, training and supervision, facilities management, residence hall judicial interviews, crisis management, residence life programming & development, student group advising, and assists with summer conference coordination; plus assists with student life programming, orientation programs and campus events as part of the Student Affairs staff. Compensation includes an apartment in the residence hall, and meals in the dining hall.

Prerequisites for the Position:
Education and experience sufficient to meet the rigors of the position, for example, a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution and one year experience working in Higher Education Student Housing or equivalent education and experience. Strong organizational, supervisory, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse students is needed.
Varied work schedule; Coordinates and monitors staffing and duty coverage and participates in emergency on-call to respond to campus issues evenings and weekends.
