The DePaul University School of Hospitality Leadership announces a term faculty (Instructor) position to be filled for the 2017-2018 academic year. Responsibilities for this position will include teaching hospitality courses in the area of event and meeting management.
This instructor role also holds administrative functions within the School of Hospitality Leadership to include managing event and annual promotion for the School of Hospitality Leadership and the J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation Center for Student Development and Engagement.
Further, it is expected of all faculty within the School of Hospitality Leadership to perform service functions that support student development and the strategic initiatives of the School of Hospitality Leadership and the J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation Center for Student Development and Engagement (i.e. student organization advising, serving on School of Hospitality Leadership committee, etc.).
A master’s degree in a business or hospitality discipline and experience managing events is required. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications for an AACSB accredited business school.
