Responsibilities:

The Assistant Director of Undergraduate Cohort Programs will be responsible for the management of undergraduate cohort bachelor completion programs and special programs within the UG portfolio. This role will manage issues related to student enrollment and admissions and needs assessment for these programs. The Assistant Director of UG Cohort and Special Programs will also support the Director of Undergraduate Academic Operations and the Director of Academic Operations for the Lowell Institute School in developing business plans, program budgets, analyzing enrollment trends, establishing goals and benchmarks for new programs, and conducting regular program reviews. The work for this position will be dedicated to managing the student population in the Global Classroom programs, as well as special and industry-aligned programs. The Assistant Director of UG Cohort and Special Programs will work closely with appropriate directors, coordinators, office staff, as well as customer service representatives, advisers and marketing staff within the College. This position also works closely with other departments across the University, such as the Registrar, Financial Aid and Enrollment Services.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in an academic discipline with a minimum of 2 years administrative experience in program management or academic advising in a two- or four-year college setting or related business environment. Strong leadership and effective communication skills are a must. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to diverse constituencies. Effective administrative, supervisory, and organizational skills and evidence of excellent decision-making skills are required. This position requires academic advising experience and a demonstrated ability to manage rapidly evolving priorities. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of the unique needs of international and adult learners and show strong commitment to continuing education. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed is required. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
