Duties: The individual in this position will manage the Targeted PD Biomarker and Therapeutics Research Program at Penn Parkinson's Center. The Targeted PD Biomarker and Therapeutics Research Program consists of several ongoing and newly undertaken research studies that include biomarker development and clinical trials. The primary function and purpose of the individual in this position will be to serve as the program leader, with responsibilities including (i) full responsibility for all regulatory aspects of all the studies that fall under the program, (ii) management of day-to-day activities related to the studies (research study visit scheduling, supervising (as needed) study visits conducted by other coordinators in the program, conducting research study visits), biospecimen storage, processing, and shipment) (iii) supervision of and participation in data entry and maintenance (iv) communication with study cores and sponsors (v) supervision and training of research personnel involved in the projects (vi) identification of and review of potential new protocols for feasibility at our site (vii) participate in analysis of data and preparation of abstracts and manuscripts.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of applicable experience, preferably in patient-oriented research, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Post-graduate studies in biomedical/health sciences, neurosciences, psychology, or public health/epidemiology field is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Excel and general workings of other generic clinical research databases, with Redcap knowledge preferred.
