Job description

Duties: The Clinical Research Coordinator A will assist in the coordination of industry and federally funded clinical trials. Responsibilities include but not limited to: schedule patient visits and any necessary testing; recruit, screen and enroll potential study subjects; process and ship blood, specimens; coordinate, organize and maintain all documentation required by Sponsor or CRO; perform data entry; resolve data queries with Sponsor or CRO; conduct initiation, monitoring and closeout visits with Sponsor or CRO; adhere to all GCP and FDA guidelines.

This position is also responsible for training and administering cognitive assessment batteries to patients and research participants .

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 1 year to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Position requires effective communication skills; strong organizational and time management skills; flexible and able to multi-task; demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently; Adhere to all University of Pennsylvania, FDA, and GCP guidelines. The preferred candidate will have experience with and a comfort level working with persons with Alzheimer's disease and their family caregivers.
