RESEARCH ADMIN ASSISTANT
Duties: This is a position for an administrative assistant who will work under the supervision of Justin Clapp, Ph.D, and/or other faculty members. The administrative assistant will provide overall administrative support for the projects of Dr. Clapp and members of the research group. This will include, but not limited to: prepare, organize, and maintain necessary paperwork and research documents and filings, manage data collection and data entry input for ongoing research projects, and assist with preparation of abstract and manuscript submissions. The incumbent will be expected to prioritize and work independently on calendar management, contact list updates, meeting planning, attendance, and follow-up for related research projects
Qualifications: Minimum of a High School Diploma and 3-5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. A Bachelor's Degree or college course work preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to utilize email, Internet, Microsoft Office and other community applications in a highly-skilled, organized, efficient and accurate manner. The position requires superior written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, the capacity to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, and good judgment. Applicants with prior experience working with a research team, as well as a potential interest in pursuing a career in a medical field, are preferred.
