Duties: The Director of Programs, manages the on-campus and hybrid Nonprofit Leadership programs with the support of the Faculty Director. Responsibilities includes:
* Directing the marketing, recruitment, and admissions processes in conjunction with the SP2 Admissions Office; provides advice and counsel to graduate students in the program; and interacts with part-time and full-time faculty and instructors teaching in the program.
* Managing the finances for the Nonprofit Leadership program and the affiliated Center for Social Impact Strategy and establishes connections and collaborates with Penn stakeholders and resources.
* Hiring, evaluation, and supervision of staff for the on-campus and hybrid NPL programs and managing relations with contractors for the Center for Social Impact Strategy
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Master s Degree or more and 5 to 7 years of experience strongly preferred.. The position requires someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a solid appreciation for and commitment to the vision and agenda of the NPL Program and Center for Social Impact Strategy; an entrepreneurial spirit; the ability to operate with grace under pressure; a sense of humor; a commitment to details and excellence in program management; a willingness to contribute creatively to the growth of the NPL Program and CSIS; and a keen appreciation and sensitivity for the special needs of all the various types of students and clients in the NPL and CSIS programs (international, distance, full-time and part-time students).
