Duties: Reporting to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and provide support to the Associate Director for Alumni Relations in their efforts to inform and engage donors, alumni and friends of the School of Nursing. Process gifts to the School of Nursing; managing the donor acknowledgement and reporting process. Coordinate, support and staff alumni and stewardship events and meetings including the production of meeting/event materials such as name tags, registration lists, and briefings; and scheduling conference calls; and staffing of event. Manage the department's email account for alumni inquiries and responses. Serve as first line of response for alumni requests and questions. Support the stewardship efforts including creation of scholarship reports, managing mailings to new donors and drafting correspondence to donors. Interface with PeopleSoft database to update and maintain constituent information as well as generate data reports of specific alumni, donors and friends. Produce and distribute the alumni and donor e-newletters and email marketing. Support the department's social media channels to engage alumni and donors. Manage the content of the Nursing Development and Alumni Relations web pages including writing and maintaining text and images and working with staff to ensure web pages serve as an effective communication vehicle for department. Research and develop informational briefings to support donor and alumni activities. In conjunction with Administrative Coordinator, answer department telephones and distribute calls to appropriate staff, taking messages as necessary. Receive, distribute & process mail for department staff. Work with student work study staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications: High School diploma required. College degree preferred; 3-5 years office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; excellent interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills; thorough attention to detail; capable written and analytical skills; computer aptitude with knowledge of Microsoft Office and in particular Excel preferred; experience with SharePoint or other website content management software a plus; ability to make sound judgments, work proactively and handle multiple priorities in fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines is critical; occasional evening and weekend hours. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
