Review reports submitted by staff members to recommend approval or to suggest changes. Appoint department heads, faculty or managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them. May develops strategies to achieve educational goals and objectives.

Department Specific Essential Job Functions:
Provides visionary and strategic leadership for a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to student health and wellness, including administrative support and leadership for the Counseling Center, Campus Recreation, and Community Wellness.
Responsible for planning, development, implementation and evaluation of campus-wide wellness education program and key performance measures for students’ physical, emotional, psychological, and overall well-being.
In partnership with the Vice President for Student Affairs, envision, plan, and implement a new student health and wellness strategy.
Develops collaborative partnerships across campus and with other local colleges and universities, local and state agencies, and health care providers to ensure strategic integration of holistic wellness programs, initiatives and services.
Oversees and manages upkeep of all facilities for the Wellness Center to include off campus locations, OAR and CHK | Central Boathouse.
Serves as the university liaison to the university’s health service contractual partner, OU Physicians Health & Wellness Clinic located in the Wellness Center.
Oversees Paralympic and Olympics activities including responsibility as university liaison with the U.S. Olympic Committee.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Salary: $82,051 annually
