Responsibilities

Handling cash/credit, register operations, and paperwork daily at Concessions stand and Grindhouse. Provide excellent customer service to patrons. Operating specialized food service equipment including an espresso machine, a popcorn machine, etc. Maintaining daily inventory and regularly restocking items. Organizing and cleaning all stock rooms, work spaces, and customer areas. Following all health department and cleanliness expectations anywhere food is handled. Replacing equipment supplies when needed like CO2 tanks, oil, and soda syrups. Participates in annual ASLC Staff Training. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A high school diploma/equivalency.
Maintain at least a 2.3 GPA while employed.

Preferred

Prior work experience (cash-handling) Prior ASLC volunteering experience

The Askew Student Life Center was established to educate, entertain, and serve the FSU student body with a wide range of programming, events, and services.
The Concessions and Coffee Shop staff are employed in the Student Life Cinema and Grindhouse Cafe. They work the register, handle customers, and make sure all inventory items are replenished and ready to serve.

Schedule

Around class schedule (available to work nights and weekends). The weekly work commitment is 15-20 hours
