Job Summary:

The Coordinator of Residential Life is a live-in member of the Office of Campus Life and Housing professional staff and is responsible for the co-curricular learning environment in the residence halls at the college.

Supervisory and Management Responsibility:

Supervises the Resident Assistant team (18-20 students), Thorne-Rider Campus Center Building Managers (4-6 students), and Thorne-Rider Campus Center Front Desk Staff (6-8 students).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required by the Position:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Title IX and VAWA
  • Preferred – Working knowledge of the Residence Life module of Datatel’s Colleague system
  • Ability to work on and manage multiple projects
  • Must be willing to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of college personnel;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work with students, both individually and in groups
