  ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: Salary commensurate with experience within State guidelines

HOURS: Flexible: Day, Evening, Weekends

CAMPUS: Willingness to teach at Barton, Brashier, Benson, Northwest and Off-Campus  

In this challenging role, you will support the Public Services/Arts/Sciences Division – History department at Greenville Technical College.   Duties may include any or all of the following:

  • Teach History courses
  • Prepare lectures/syllabi/tests
  • Grade/accesses student work
  • Develop/implement new classroom strategies
  • Consult with students
  • Advise on academic progress
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Master’s degree in History or Master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in History.

Have the ability to work with colleagues/students and to convey knowledge in a form that students can understand.  Adaptable to students’ needs, to different teaching situations, and be able to motivate students.  Able to work in teams and independently.  Previous teaching experience
