The Sue and Bill Gross School of Nursing at the University of California, Irvine invite applications for a non-tenure track Professional Researcher. The initial position will be from July 1, 2017-June 30, 2018, and will be renewed annually.
Candidates are sought to provide research design and statistical support for faculty preparing grants in Nursing and to work as the primary statistical support person for a study of the Boston Marathon Bombings. A Ph.D. in Psychology or a health-related field and strong writing and statistical skills are required. Previous experience with grant writing and managing large datasets is required. Prior work in a health-related field and/or disaster mental health is highly recommended. Expertise in multi-level modeling, weighting population-based samples from complex longitudinal surveys, and experience with STATA are strongly preferred.
