The Department of Geography & Environmental Sciences (GES) at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a temporary, full-time, non-tenure-track 9-month appointment as a physical geographer/physical scientist instructor.
The position will include teaching 8 courses in the academic year in support of the GES teaching mission/needs, including introductory, upper division and graduate courses related to the physical geography components of the program. Commitment to excellence in teaching is expected. GES (clas.ucdenver.edu/ges) seeks an instructor who can enhance the curriculum in physical geography, environmental science, human-environment interaction, and/or environmental geography. The position will also support the lab management of two teaching labs.
Ph.D. in Geography or related field.
Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in teaching at the university-level.
Familiarity with lab management.
