The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate. This position is responsible for planning and implementation of the University of Miami Teacher-Child Interaction Therapy (UMTCIT) Program within B-2 program and other classrooms in Miami-Dade County. Also responsible for conducting parent and teacher implementation planning focus groups; conducting classroom observations and assessments (e.g., REDSOCS, DPICS-IV); training teachers, via workshops and live classroom coaching, to implement TCIT strategies in self-contained and inclusion classrooms with children with and without disabilities; participating in clinical research activities, including collaboration on projects with other faculty and external program evaluators, assisting with the design of projects and data collection, preparation of grant applications and manuscripts and development and implementation of original research projects for which external funding is sought; and participating in the psychology training program, including providing supervision of clinical psychology trainees and giving lectures to trainees regarding psychological services for various clinical problems.

The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-approved training program. Completion of APA-approved clinical internship program. PCIT International Therapist Certification preferred. Relevant clinical experience with children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred.

Patient safety is a top priority.
