We encourage applications from all qualified persons.</p><p><strong>Job Summary/Basic Function:</strong></p><p>The Staff Psychologist/Counselor and Coordinator of Alcohol and Other Drug Services is the primary clinical provider of alcohol and other drug treatment and prevention services within the Wellness Center.</p> <p>This position will provide leadership and training within the Wellness Center’s integrated healthcare model to support the provision of outpatient counseling services for students struggling with alcohol and drug use, as well as coordinating prevention and education efforts with other campus constituents to promote harm reduction strategies/policies around substance use on campus.</p> <p>Approximately three quarters of this position will be dedicated to <span class="caps">AOD</span> treatment and prevention efforts. The additional quarter of this position will be focused on providing clinical mental health services, including, but not limited to, conducting initial mental health assessments, providing individual and/or group therapy, and providing crisis assessment and intervention. This position will also participate in the after-hours on-call rotation, and thus will be required to live within a 30-minute response time of campus.</p>
