Professional Research Assistant

Olivia S. Rissland's lab on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is looking for a research assistant to work on exciting projects on post-transcriptional regulation. The nature of the work will be primarily wet bench work in molecular biology and biochemistry. Current research assistants or recent college graduates will be considered. Recent graduates looking for additional research experience before applying to graduate school are welcome. A minimum of approximately one year commitment is required. Alternatively, those looking for a longer-term or permanent staff position are also welcome to apply.

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in biology or related field plus 1-2 years research experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with two or more years research experience will be most competitive, and salary and responsibilities would be immediately reflective of training. The candidate must be a highly motivated, self-organizing and independent worker with the ability to also collaborate in a team setting.
