The Department of Chemistry at West Virginia University is available to conduct research on developing new micro-nano technologies through implementing innovative acoustic, electronic and material science principles for biomedical research and clinical applications. Requirements include a Ph. D. or equivalent doctoral degree in biosensing, bio-nano interfaces, functional material development, nanostructure fabrication or related fields; effective oral and written communication skills;, demonstrated ability to work effectively with others;  demonstrated ability to contribute to  peer-reviewed journals;  and motivation to conduct interdisciplinary research. Preferred start date is August 16th, 2017. The position may be renewed in annualized increments for up to three years, contingent upon performance and funding.
