Desktop Support Specialist
The Desktop Support Specialist's role is to ensure the functioning of computer labs, classrooms and administrative workstations. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance. The individual will troubleshoot incidents and problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provides customer assistance.

An Associate's degree in the field of computer technologies or related field.
Minimum of two years related experience.
Demonstrated knowledge in: PC, MAC, Mobile Devices, Printers, Audio Visual Equipment, McAfee, Windows OS, iOS, MS Office/Exchange/Office 365.
Functional knowledge of network environment.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise directions and guidance and a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service in a prompt, cooperative and friendly manner.
Ability to interact with a variety of faculty, staff and students from diverse backgrounds.
Current certifications in Network+, MCSA or other related technologies.
Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following: SCCM, IT Service Management Tools, Active Directory.
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 10 am - 6 pm (or as needed by college)
