Posting Summary:
The Department of Pathology at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure-ineligible Clinical Instructor position. This position will be responsible for participating on the clinical diagnostic services provided by the Neuropathology Division including neuropathology surgical cases, neuromuscular pathology, ophthalmic pathology, and autopsy neuropathology. In addition, there will be participation in the clinical diagnostic activities provided by the Autopsy Service and educational activities for medical students, residents, and fellows rotating in Neuropathology and Autopsy.

Candidates must have an MD or MD/Ph.D. Must have Anatomic Pathology (AP) or AP/Clinical Pathology certification. Must be board certified or eligible in Neuropathology. The UVA Medical Center ranks in the top 100 hospitals in the country according to US News and World Report, and it is recognized as one of the "best benchmark hospitals."
