Job Description

We are searching for an individual to fill a non-tenure track, twelve month, faculty position to direct the Boone County School Mental Health Coalition project. The Coalition, is a multidisciplinary, collaborative among Boone County’s six independent school districts, the University of Missouri, College of Education (COE), Department of Educational School and Counseling Psychology and School Counseling (ESCP), the Missouri Prevention Center (MPC), and the School of Social Work (SSW). The purpose of the project is to promote a coordinated, multidisciplinary, collaborative initiative by: (a) implementing a scientifically-based model of prevention and intervention, (b) reducing contextual risk factors and promoting existing protective factors, and (b) providing access for in-risk youth and their families to comprehensive mental health assessment and wrap-around case management services.

Job Duties:
(1) facilitate a county-wide coalition among partner school districts and university personnel including coordinating meetings and communications and supporting the joint implementation of coalition initiatives.
(2) provide oversight of service provision, evidence based practices, progress monitoring, screening, and youth evaluations.
(3) provide oversight of youth case management, crisis intervention, triage, and linkages to other agencies.
(4) coordinate ongoing consultation, professional development, and county-wide Summer Institute trainings with MU partners and community agencies.
(5) coordinate data collection, analysis, and monitoring of fidelity to evidence-based practices.




Qualifications

*Doctorate in School Psychology or a related field
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in schools, implementing evidence-based assessment and interventions, and coordinating clinical services for youth
•Nationally Certified School Psychologist or Licensed Psychologist in the State of Missouri

Candidates will be evaluated on the following factors:
*Ability to coordinate clinical services and provide clinical supervision to staff and graduate students
•Ability to provide service to the program, department, college, and the profession
•Communication, leadership, organizational and management skills.

This position will be housed in the Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology (ESCP).
