Professional eLearning Manager

The Professional eLearning Manager is responsible for the oversight and growth of Aim4Excellence, the McCormick Center’s eLearning initiative. The Professional eLearning Manager maintains up-to-date content, recruits new business, oversees technical support and cohort management, and acts as Faculty of Record for Aim4Excellence. S/he will supervise the eLearning Cohort Coordinator and Administrative Technology Associate; train Aim4Excellence Facilitators; and recruit, train, and supervise Scorers.

 

 

• MAINTAIN UP-TO-DATE CONTENT FOR AIM4EXCELLENCE: Assist Director of Instructional Design & Technology in collecting and analyzing participant feedback to inform improvement of content, supports, and future development. Develop content and oversee the continued maintenance and development of Aim4Excellence. Work with the Director of Professional Learning to ensure terminology and content is consistent across learning experiences. Ensure that the design employs effective andragogy, assessment strategies, and eLearning experiences. Keep current about trends in early childhood. Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) as needed to refresh Aim4Excellence. Work closely with SMEs and Business Analyst to ensure SMEs are paid within the project budget.
• RECRUIT NEW BUSINESS FOR AIM4EXCELLENCE: Make presentations at state and national conferences to promote the National Director Credential. Work with Director of Instructional Design & Technology to support collaborative efforts in regions implementing the Aim4Excellence credential. Work to transition potential clients to active clients. Work with Marketing Manager to maintain current information and make ongoing recommendations to the McCormick Center and Aim4Excellence websites as they relate to recruiting Aim4Excellence participants.
• TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND COHORT MANAGEMENT: Oversee customer service supports and supervise the Aim4Excellence technical support team, including eLearning Cohort Coordinator and Administrative Technology Associate. Prepare and conduct training for Aim4Excellence cohort facilitators. Work with eLearning Cohort Coordinator to develop and distribute materials and curriculum for facilitators and cohort meetings. Provide recommended content and updates for the facilitator online community. Assist with reports as required for funding.
• ACT AS FACULTY OF RECORD FOR AIM4EXCELLENCE: Develop and maintain Uniform Course Outline (UCO) and ensure grades are submitted on time. Be proficient in the flow of the scoring database in SimplyDigi. Oversee scoring systems for Aim4Excellence, including supervision of scorers. Recruit, hire, and train scorers as needed. Works with Business Analyst to ensure scorers are paid within the project budget.

 

 

A strong grasp of assessment strategies used to guide and evidence student learning is also needed. Past experience managing technical projects and experience in a supervisory role is also a requirement. 3 years but less than 5 years of previous experience required. Master’s Degree preferred in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field. Bilingual, Spanish-speaking and writing preferred.
