Hampden-Sydney College invites applications for the position of Associate Dean of Students.  The Associate Dean of Students works closely with the Dean of Students on all major projects and initiatives of the student affairs division and acts on behalf of the Dean of Students during his absence.  Associate Dean of Students is responsible for the overall administrative operations of the division and has specific responsibility for matters in housing and residence life.  Furthermore, Associate Dean of Students serves as Title IX Deputy Coordinator for the Office of Student Affairs; manages the process of re-enrollment for students who have previously withdrawn; serves on college-wide committees and represents the student affairs division to a variety of on-campus and off-campus constituencies.    Qualifications: Master’s degree and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  The position requires a flexible work schedule including night and weekend responsibilities.   Review of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.   Apply at http://apply.interfolio.com/41809 by submitting letter of application, transcripts, resume or curriculum vitae, and 3 letters of recommendation, or email the documents to jobs@hsc.edu.
