College Lecturer Management
Position: One position of College Lecturer—full time, not tenure track; this position has the possibility of annual reappointment with a preliminary review after the initial four years. After consecutive reappointments for the initial six years, reappointments require an extensive teaching and professional service portfolio review.
Start Date: August 2017
Duties: Teach 4 courses per semester; teach in a variety of areas such as Principles of Management, Strategy, Human Resources, Organizational Theory, Health Care Administration and/or Organizational Behavior; teach at the undergraduate or graduate levels; teach at on-campus and off-campus locations; and participate in department and college level service activities. Cleveland State University is searching for active, culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber.
Minimum: Master's Degree in Business or a closely related field from an AACSB or equivalent accredited college; a minimum of one term teaching experience at the college level in Management (or a closely related field); excellence in teaching; effective communication skills as evidenced by application materials.
Preferred: Doctoral degree or “ABD” in Management from an AACSB or equivalent accredited college; recent scholarly research; managerial / industry experience; breadth of teaching courses such as Principles of Management, Strategy, Human Resources, Organizational Theory, Health Care Administration and/or Organizational Behavior; Ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.

Department: The Management department employs 16 full-time faculty members and offers coursework at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels.
College: Our department is housed within the Monte Ahuja College of Business. The college employs over 50 full-time faculty members. All programs are AACSB accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Enrollment exceeds 3,000 students, and the degrees we offer include: DBA, MBA, MCIS, MLRHR, MAcc, BSCIS, and BBA.
University: Cleveland State University enrolls approximately 17,000 students and is located within walking distance of the Cleveland downtown business and entertainment centers. CSU has strong ties with the business and public sectors in Northeast Ohio.
