The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking full-time academic Geriatricians for the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine in the Department of Medicine. Non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (Instructor, Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) commensurate with experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Weekend cross-coverage and nursing home coverage and call are required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be board certified/eligible in Geriatrics Medicine and licensed in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment. Applicants must have a strong interest in hospital inpatient geriatrics, geriatric ambulatory care, and home-based geriatric care with a commitment to medical education; Applicants must have a record of providing excellent clinical care services, research productivity, and clinical teaching as demonstrated by experience, publications, evaluations and/or references. A commitment to developing a research program, and experience training medical students and residents in clinical geriatrics, and fellows in geriatrics and palliative medicine, are required.

Advertised Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Other Benefits:
