Job description

Duties: This position is contingent on funding. We are seeking an experienced research manager with highly developed research management and organization skills, and the ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The individual in this role will implement and manage research projects. One of the primary studies this research manager will be responsible for is a school-based study aimed to study the effects of leadership transitions. This project involves collecting quantitative and qualitative data from 7,000 teachers, administrators, and staff in over 150 schools across seven of the largest public school districts in the United States. Other projects will include but are not limited to research focued on innovative employment practices in US businesses, impact investing, and other social impact related topics.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Able to work independently with little supervision as well as part of a group. Highly developed research management and organization skills. Proven ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, write summary reports, synthesize literature searches, managing data cleaning, coding and conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, create presentations for partners and donors, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
