Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Manager in International Tax. The responsibilities of this role will include planning, compliance, and audit defense projects. A portion of time will also be spent on reviewing outsourced compliance, quarterly and year-end tax provisions, and other tax accounting exercises. This is a company very active in terms of acquisitions. The right individual for this role will need to have the ability to develop strong relationships between Corporate Tax and various business partners throughout the global organization.

Education, Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 7 years overall experience, with minimum 3 years outbound international tax experience
  • Solid experience with U.S. international tax compliance is preferred
  • Experience with transfer pricing is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA and/or MST or JD a plus
  • Big 4 public accounting experience a STRONG plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface across functions
  • Must possess a strong team oriented personality
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get into the details
  • Willingness to create detailed spreadsheets/modeling, prepare accounting entries and prepare IRS IDR responses
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and roles which may be unfamiliar to the candidate
  • Strong tax technical research skills
  • Must have comprehensive understanding of core U.S. international tax concepts including Subpart F, income sourcing, expense apportionment & allocation, E&P, and foreign tax credit
  • Understanding of ASC 740 in connection with foreign tax provisions
