Job Description

3.8.5.1. Responsibilities
3.8.5.1.1. Provide task tracking, resource allocation, ticket management, requirements review, budgeting, project status reports, coordinate Business Project Intake (BPI), Process and SOP management
3.8.5.1.2. Develop schedules and project plans to ensure timely completion, including identification of scope changes, critical path items, dependencies, etc.
3.8.5.1.3. Work with technical and operational staff to resolve information security tasks and projects
3.8.5.1.4. Ensure that compliance requirements and documentation are followed for all projects
3.8.5.1.5. Proactively identify project issues and risks, and work with the project team for timely resolutions
3.8.5.1.6. Coordinate with appropriate stakeholder to identify process improvement opportunities
3.8.5.1.7. Coordinate technical and administrative teams, manage vendor, and customer relationships
3.8.5.1.8. Implement and coordinate security operational tasks and projects
3.8.5.1.9. Provide support services
3.8.5.1.10. Identify and manage risks to information security tasks and project

3.8.5.2. Minimum Requirements
3.8.5.2.1. Two or more years of experience performing the duties identified above in a large information technology operations
3.8.5.2.2. Technical experience in cyber security, information assurance, network security, computer information systems, computer science, or management information systems
3.8.5.2.3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related field; or a current PMP Certification
3.8.5.2.4. Knowledge and understanding of security requirements and provisioning to enable tasks routing according to WMATA's security needs

3.8.5.3. Experience Levels
3.8.5.3.1. Level 1: Junior level - Associates degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience 2+ years of related technical experience
3.8.5.3.2. Level 2: Intermediate level - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience 5+ years of related technical experience
3.8.5.3.3. Level 3: Expert level - Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience 8+ years of related technical experience
