Duties: The University of Pennsylvania Division of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Director of Marketing and New
Media. The position assists the Director of Marketing and New Media with all aspects of DRIA marketing initiatives. duties include, but are not limited to: work with
supervisor to create & oversee implementation of marketing plans for football, men's basketball, Penn Relays , women's basketball, wrestling & non-ticketed sport
marketing plans; Oversee design of marketing collateral pieces; Develop marketing & advertising strategies to increase event attendance; Create & produce new
content for video board at Football & Women s Basketball and The Penn Relays; Oversee & implement Penn The Relays School Days program; Work with supervisor
to oversee creation & implementation of game promotions & operations on the day of game (scripts, timelines, etc.) for football, men's basketball, Penn Relays ,
women's basketball, wrestling & non-ticketed sport marketing plan; Oversee & coordinate student & campus outreach efforts & community marketing initiatives,
including administering of Penn Rewards program; Develop & maintain databases; Manage marketing-related website content & create website advertisements;
Manage department trade acquired through partnership with JMI Sports; Oversee work studies & student internship program.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Athletics and event marketing experience preferred. Strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills required. Familiarity with intercollegiate (NCAA) events, activities, and operations preferred. Ability to comply with all NCAA/Ivy League rules and regulations. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays as required.
