The Department of Occupational Therapy invites applications for a full-time, three-year, non-tenure eligible position, with the possibility of reappointment, to begin August 16, 2017. Occupational Therapy faculty are involved in teaching clinical, theoretical, and research-based classes at both the undergraduate and graduate programmatic levels; individual and student/faculty scholarship; and service to the department, college, community and profession. The Department of Occupational Therapy is committed to increasing the diversity of the faculty to broaden the academic experience for its students. Interested applicants must be certified OTR and eligible for licensure in New York State. A minimum of three years clinical experience and a Masters Degree is required. Doctoral degree and previous teaching experience preferred.

The Department of Occupational Therapy offers two programs: an established, accredited five-year program leading to a BS in Occupational Science and an MS in Occupational Therapy, and a 2.4 year Professional Entry-level MS program in Occupational Therapy. The department also offers a minor in Occupational Science and provides numerous experiential learning opportunities through our two on-campus clinics, the Center for Life Skills program and our partnership with the Ithaca Free Clinic.
