One Tenure-Track and one Tenure Positions, University of California, Irvine
The Departments of Biological Chemistry and Dermatology in the School of Medicine invite applications for two state-funded, positions at the Assistant Professor, tenure-track or Associate Professor tenured level. Successful candidates will have a primary appointment in Biological Chemistry. One of the candidates will have a split (50%/50%) appointment with the Department of Dermatology.
We are seeking outstanding individuals in the field of tumor biology. We are particularly interested in the areas of molecular cancer signaling, tumor suppressor function, tumor microenvironment, translational cancer research, and malignant transformation. However, outstanding candidates from all fields of tumor biology will be considered. The individuals will be associated with the Chao Comprehensive Cancer Center at UCI and are expected to lead a vigorous research program of high caliber and participate in the training of graduate and medical students.
UC Irvine offers an excellent salary, incentive and benefit program. Faculty rank and compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Interviewing will begin in February 2016. The position is open until filled.
